Career Prospects
Training with us doesn’t guarantee you a job.
After your training, there are three potential outcomes:
1. If you have made money during Stage Three of the course then you can continue with us as a trader. As you continue to improve we will back you to trade larger amounts with our own money. After you have built up experience and a profitable track record we will back you to take the FSA approved route to becoming able to trade on behalf of others, specifically the investor members of our community. These members are interested in these markets but do not want to trade themselves. They prefer to trade traders, backing the ones they believe in.
2. If you haven't made money, but we think you have potential, we’ll still back you. Or introduce you to the trading member firms within our community who also back candidates with potential. We might also introduce you to different departments within our community, such as Private equity, Venture Capital or FCT Alternative Investment Funds.
3. It’s a competitive business, and you might not make it with us. But our course and the experience you have gained will enable you to trade alone, or put you in a strong position to apply for trading jobs anywhere in the world. Recent graduates have successfully applied for front office jobs at big banks including UBS.
